How You Can Help
Our work cannot be done without the generous support of people in our community.
Here are a few ways you can make a difference:
- Volunteer. What a great way to give back to the community and get to know your neighbors. You can volunteer to help out at one of our fund raising events or join the BECA Committee on a regular basis. We meet intermittently to discuss our program activities and plan our annual fundraisers. Go to the Contact Us page to get on our roster and find out when and where our next committee meeting will be.
- Donate. Our scholarships are funded entirely by donations from people like you. Go to the Scholarships page to see a list of scholarship amounts you can give. In addition to donating money, you can also donate art and other items for our fundraising events, such as gift certificates, raffle prizes, or even food!
- Attend our regular fund raising events. Our events are social, fun, and a wonderful way to meet people and make friends. Go to our Upcoming Events page for more information about scheduled activities in the community. Three events are held annually: a Chili/Flan Cook-Off in the Spring; a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta in May; and our annual Silent/Live Auction, Dinner and Dance known as the Rancho Fandango held on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend.
