Scholarships
Annual scholarship assistance (USD) includes:
- Primaria (Elementary School grades 5-6) $100
- Secundaria (Junior High School grades 7-9) $145
- Preparatoria (High School grades 10-12) $290
- University $600
Who Chooses
The BECA Committee works with local principals and teachers to review scholarship applications and discuss hardship cases. Report cards of scholarship recipients are reviewed bi-annually to insure that grade point averages and school attendance remain constant. LMPOA members are encouraged to attend BECA Committee meetings.
How We Choose
Each year in June, after final report cards are issued, the BECA Committee reviews applications for BECA Scholarship funds. Applications are available through committee members and schools.
