What We Do
The BECA Committee is an all-volunteer organization that is part of the La Misión Property Owners Association (LMPOA). We operate with minimal administrative, event and organizational costs made possible by generous donations of time, expertise and creativity to help raise the much needed thousands of dollars anually used to support the educational goals of La Misión Students.
BECA raises scholarship funds through several annual social events. In addition to their entertainment value, these events are designed to enlighten and encourage public support of the educational needs of the La Misión community.
The continued support of LMPOA members and friends has benefited local youth for almost 20 years. The scholarship program has made a calcualable difference in the lives of many young children entereing the higher education system in México.
When we help to promote local students in their quest for excellence we all benefit. BECA students can be the future leaders of the La Misión community and, perhaps, the Republic of México. We are privileged to live here and to share in their success.
